A Box of Crayons- A Donations Project For Children's Hospitals To Honor Johnny Depp

Hello All~

I apologize for the long delays in updates alot has been happening in my life, but I DID NOT forget to deliver the Johnny Depp Birthday Donations to LACH.

This trip was just a short day trip my brother went w/ me. I arrived at LACH about 1pm with 4 or 5 full bags of gifts some of the gifts included socks, books, crayons, stuffed animals and ofcourse Johnny Depp movies and toys.

I dropped the gifts off at the front desk as usual and signed a form out with all of the correct information and wrote "In Honor Of Johnny Depp."

I am so greatful to all of you who donated this year and last helping make these two years of successful giving to LA Children's Hopsital!!

I am very aware of the state of the economy, whichis WHY it is a great time (believe it or not) to donate to your local children's hospital or to give to the donations for LA Children's Hospital for Johnny's birthday.


There is NO NEED TO PURCHASE EXPENSIVE GIFTS!!
I myself buy items for Target's $1.00 bins or the $1 store.


Please be aware that one dollar can make a difference in the life of a very ill child!

Hi All~

I took a rest after delivering the Johnny Depp Birthday Donations to LA Children's Hospital. I am back now and I am so happy to say the delivery went perfectly. I arrived approximately at 4pm and notified the front desk service man that I had gifts to donate.

He called for assitants to help transport the gifts. As I was waiting for them to arrive I watched the many different families with their sick children arrive and leave the out of the lobby. I saw all ages of children infants, toddlers, teens. I saw their families some were large some were small. Seeing all the different children who attend LACH for care really touched my heart. I was fighting so hard to hold back my tears.

I was hoping that the gifts I was about to donate would help at least one child through whatever their situation was. Beit chemotherapy, an organ transplant, or recovering from a very severe case of pnuemonia.

After about 5 mins. two men with carts arrived to help me transport the gifts. We went into the parking lot and they loaded the gifts out of the car trunk on their carts. There were 3 bags all together. They said thank you and took the gifts up to the hospital.

I got into my car and proceeded to drive home. I felt so good and I still do. Each child that will receive a donation will hopefully forget their illness, or opertaion or whatever they are there for if it is only for a minute.

I would like to thank EVERYONE who participated in The Johnny Depp Birthday Donations to LA Children's Hospital. Without you it wouldn't be possible!!! Your generosity and warm hearts have truely touched me and will help many ill children smile!!

I am so happy to report I have received a third Donation for the Johnny Depp Birthday Donations for LA Children's Hospital!  It came in the mail on June 2. It is from  my friend Lyn in Fla.

She packed it w/ tons of goodies for the kiddies @ LA Children's Hospital and children @ San Diego Children's Hospital. THANK YOU SO MUCH LYN!!!! You are a a true angel!!

A Box of Crayons is a spotlight charity for E.Y.E.~ Eternal Youth Empire. Due to the generosity of Veronica Grey at E.Y.E. the organization has pledged to donate toys to Oakland Children's Hospital.

There is still time to get your donations out, as long as it is mailed by June, 1st, 2008. There are two choices for delivery of your donation.

1.) The donation can be delivered directly to me.

2.) The donation can be delivered to LA Children's Hospital. The mailing adress is on the first page of this blog.

I am very pleased to report that I received the first   doantion for the Johnny Depp Birthday Donations To LA Children's Hospital! It is a lovely teddy bear from Mary-Louise from Denmark!!   I hope this donation is the first of many to come!
